Most people don’t think about the effect that school shootings have on the teenagers that survive these tragedies. But each year, thousands of children in the US have to live with the emotional and physical trauma of surviving a shooting.
To draw attention to this tragic reality, we partnered with Katy Perry to re-record her famous ode adolescence, ‘Teenage Dream’ with real survivors of school shootings across America.
The campaign included interviews with each of the survivors in the spot, who share their own personal experience of living with gun violence. A selection are featured here.
