Jim is a British Creative Director / Copywriter. Born in London, worked in Sweden, and now calls New York home. Jim loves coming up with ideas. Big ideas, small ideas, medium ideas, digital ideas, TV ideas, social ideas, ideas that win awards, ideas that win business, ideas that Kim Khardashian tweets about and even ideas that normal non advertising people might actually enjoy. But not ideas for what to get for lunch. He’s flat out of ideas for lunch.

A lifetime ago I got my start in this business by cramming animated banners into a 15KB size limit. But even the most interesting challenges become stale over time.
For some years I ran my own set of clients at DDB Amsterdam ranging from Heineken to adidas and KLM before moving to New York. At BBDO NY I worked across a large variety of clients including Snickers, AT&T, Pedigree, Fedex, Pepsi and META.
I’ve always had a passion for great ideas that stand out from the clutter, and believe that effectiveness should be a natural result of anything I make. I’m a problem solver, and I love finding the best answer for any brief, regardless of medium.
